Renovation of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) was recently completed. This marks the completion of the construction work of Winter Olympic venues and supporting infrastructure in Beijing and Yanqing competition zones. The National Stadium will be used to hold the opening and closing ceremonies for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
承擔著北京冬奧會、冬殘奧會開閉幕式任務(wù)的國家體育場“鳥巢”改造工程近日完工 。 至此 ， 北京2022年冬奧會北京及延慶賽區(qū)場館和配套基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施全面完工 。
The renovation of the National Stadium mainly focused on barrier-free facilities, landscape lighting system and audience service facilities. Xiang Jun, head of the National Stadium Co. Ltd, said a barrier-free ramp was added to the northeast side of the outside of the venue and 18 barrier-free elevators were upgraded.
國家體育場場館改造主要對無障礙設(shè)施系統(tǒng)、景觀照明系統(tǒng)、觀眾服務(wù)設(shè)施系統(tǒng)等方面進行提升 ， 國家體育場有限公司黨委書記、董事長相軍表示 ， 場館外圍基座東北側(cè)增建無障礙坡道 ， 更新全場18部無障礙電梯 。

Barrier-free elements were added to each elevator, such as handrails and accessible buttons.
每個電梯都增加了無障礙的設(shè)施 ， 如扶手和無障礙按鈕等 。

After the renovation of the lighting system, the venue can save 30% energy and can present more diverse lighting effects according to the needs during different periods of time. Xiang Jun said the renovation also considered the requirements of audience watching performances in winter.
景觀照明系統(tǒng)改造后 ， 場館通過運行模式控制 ， 達到30%的節(jié)能效果 ， 同時可根據(jù)不同時段需求呈現(xiàn)更多元化的燈光效果 ， 打造標志性城市夜景名片 。 相軍表示 ， 改造還考慮到了觀眾冬季觀演的需求 。

We have provided drinking machines with warm water in each audience stand, which can serve 40,000-50,000 people. The toilets also have warm water to wash hands.
我們?yōu)楦鱾€看臺提供了溫水的直飲水機器 ， 可以滿足4~5萬的觀眾的使用 ， 還在衛(wèi)生間里提供熱水為大家洗手 。

The completion of the Bird’s Nest renovation marks the completion of the construction of eight competition venues, 16 non-competition venues and 31 supporting structures for the 2022 Winter Olympics. Ding Jianming, Deputy Director of Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office.
