關于pair主謂一致問題，主要有以下兩個核心要點：

① 如果成雙的東西前有a pair of來修飾時，謂語要用單數。
例如：This pair of scissors belongs to the tailor.

② 想要購買的內容是東西，而不是pair，所以buy后的賓語如果用代詞時，要用them（指trousers等），而不用it（指pair）。但如果賓語是a pair of ...這樣的完整形式，則不受影響。

例如：This pair of shoes looks great. I want to try them on. Try的賓語不是it，而是them 。

對比：This pair of shoes looks great. I want to try on this pair of shoes. Try的賓語是this pair of shoes完整版，就可以了，單獨一個pair是不可以的。
