Pop： 流行音樂 。Britpop是英倫流行音樂，the Beatles, Placebo, Oasis 。

Classic Rock：主流搖滾 。the Rolling Stones，Eagles，Rod Steward，the Beatles 。包括有pomp rock/glam rock(華麗搖滾 David Bowie, Queens) 。acid rock / psychedelic(迷幻搖滾 Pink Floyd) 。
Rock： folk rock(民謠搖滾Simon&Garfunkel)，progressive rock(前衛(wèi)搖滾 類似于acid rock, Genesis)，jazz-rock fusion(爵士搖滾Chicago)，pop rock(流行搖滾 matchbox twenty)，punk rock(朋克搖滾 Red Hot Chili Peppers)，blues rock(藍調(diào)搖滾the Who)
Alternative Rock： 另類搖滾，包括punk(朋克 Green Day, Offspring, Sex Pistols)，hardcore(硬核 The Clash, Sonic Youth)，Goth(哥特搖滾 the Cure, Bauhaus)，industrial(工業(yè)搖滾 Nine Inch Nails)，grunge(油漬搖滾 Nirvana, Pearl Jam)，new wave(新浪潮 Inxs, Tears for Fears)，post-punk(后朋克 Joy Division, R.E.M., UB40)，Brit Rock(英倫搖滾 Oasis, Blur) 。
